Dress Hunt

I've been scouring the internet for a dress for our pre-wedding photoshoot and I think I've found the one on Anthropologie :)

It's a tad pricey but if it's gonna be for the wedding, I don't mind forking out a lil more...plus it's not too dressy which means I can wear it out as often as I like!

The crazy work period of dec-mar is ending soon and I can now focus on planning our wedding. Though many things have been confirmed, we still have not chosen a date yet and we need to do this pronto!

We were planning to get married in late August or early September 2012 before we were facing these obstacles:

Eid falls on 19th August - so there is no way we can do an August wedding. September will be our only choice because people would be busy visiting in August.

The Singapore Grand Prix will be held in September - Okay as much as I detest the F1 coming to Singapore, it helps boost this country's economy. I tolerated the road closures and the crowds during this period and was never really affected directly by the event until now. We were planning to have the reception at my favorite place in Singapore, the Asian Civilisations Museum but it was smack dab on the F1 belt and the venue refused to let me book the room until dates for F1 2012 were set. ARGH! They told me I could only book it 6 months prior to the day which, is really a tad to rushy for me. :(

I really really hope the F1 dates for 2012 will be posted by Jan 2012 so I can quickly book the venue. We had some alternative venue choices but we've got our heart set on ACM. We'll just have to wait and see, I guess.

I had the pleasure of designing my friend's entire wedding stationery. We wanted to go for clean and classic look. These are only digital images, I will photograph the entire suite soon...they are prettier in real life because the printer, Morus Fine Stationery, did a beautiful job! This is a pink floral themed dessert table, I will be doing more soon!

Hello April

April is here! Finally, the crazy work phase of Nov-Mar is OVER and I survived!

I told myself that I will start posting regularly to this blog and I shall update with a wedding invitation set that I put together not too long ago. This set is one of my favorites because I love soft pinks and vintage dreamy elements. I've sold a couple of these last week :)

Luxe Floral Wedding Suite

I've been uninspired lately but yesterday I managed to design and uploaded an entire wedding stationery set on my Zazzle store. The tedious part was the layouts and aligning the text. I took an entire day because I'm always so fussy about everything.

I'm working on more colors now and I'll be uploading 3 more sets tonight, if I don't get distracted that is! :)

Shop Overhaul!

It's about time for an update! This will be really short because my eyes are really tired from staring at the computer screen plus I've got work in a few hours :\

My Etsy shop is on hiatus for the time being but my Zazzle store, SPINSUGAR just had a minor overhaul :)

I updated the shop header and added a simple menu to all the pages. It's still incomplete because I am planning to add some visuals to spice it up. It's pretty basic now but I'm currently happy with the palette. Right now I'm striving for the silver proseller status (bronze status now) and I'm gonna spend most of this weekend to work on my products. I only added a couple of new wedding invitations and some monogrammed stationery last weekend and I am amazed how some people have over 3000 products. I've got only 280+...definitely going to churn out some this week!
