Debut post! I'm so excited about this new blog. I REALLY hope I won't be too busy/lazy to update it this time. Typepad's really user-friendly and I have a feeling I will be staying here for a while :)
I shall start this blog off with a little personal project. Recently, I decided to give a little corner of my room a makeover:
It's not pictured but I had a big old grey desk in that corner. That was my study table throughout most of secondary school. I'm 25 now and it was about time I got rid of it and create workspace where I can actually work on my art and design. My room is really tiny and the old desk I had took so much space. I bought an smaller desk from ikea and a tiny bookshelf. Most of my books are hidden behind the curtains in storage boxes. I decided that I did not want to clutter the area. My darling boyfriend helped to install the shelf and my boss got me the lanterns from Chinatown during the Mid-Autumn Festival :)
It's still incomplete though...I'm thinking of putting up some art on the wall.
Though it's a really simple makeoever, I'm glad I got off my butt and actually started on this because getting rid of the old desk and all the clutter really made a difference. I feel more inspired and motivated to work on my art now :)
